I am a busy stay at home mom of two beautiful little girls, ages 6 and 4. They are my constant driving force behind my photography (not excluding my wonderful, adoring and supportive husband).

I love my sister. She is my strength and wisdom. My best friend. And she moved close to me so that our children will grow up together.

I went to school at Indiana University and majored in English Literature. I love to read. I will read Tolstoy’s War and Peace, one day. Today, you can pretty much find me reading anything having to do with kids, photography, style, art, design and travel.

My favorite food is grilled cheese and tomato soup. I must have eaten it every Friday for four years and never got sick of it.

I take myself less seriously every year. Life is too short.

I will never tell anyone what music is on my iPod.

Burning wood and the tiare flower are my favorite smells.

I never liked the color pink until I had a girl.

I was a synchronized swimmer.

My girls are true miracles. Everyday life with them is raw, hilariously funny and perfect. They are sassy, beautiful and so smart (yup, I did say that). Chicks rule!

I am obsessed with children’s books. Pout-Pout Fish is my new favorite.

Never underestimate the power of Penzy’s Double-Strength Vanilla.

I would love to think that I am super organized, but in reality, I am a slob. I always have a dining room table filled with my clean laundry. It is an on-going nemesis.

I have always been a PC girl, until I bought an iMac. I would make out with it if I could.

Cherry chapstick is gross, Bonnie Bell rocks!

The Greatest American Hero was the best television program ever made. And so was the soundtrack.

I love everything French. The French are stubborn, refined and unapologetic. I wish I could be more like them when I grow up.

I have a soft spot for wiener dogs and pretty much all dogs. Especially brand new ones that are mini and fit in the palm of your hand.

My family is the single most important thing in my life. They are strong, warm, and forgiving. They will always be there for me. Always. There is nothing like it. I am so lucky.
