Senior | Eureka, MO | Sara Tegman Photography//04.25.11

We got so lucky weather-wise for this beautiful senior. Since I am a natural light photographer, I rely on the weather quite a bit for my sessions. I am constantly aware of it. It has been a wet week, but we were so lucky to get this session in with a remarkable, distinguished, and beautiful young woman. She was up for anything and jumped at the chance to do anything I suggested. Her mom was along and helped pick out some of these choice spots, she had an amazing eye. We really worked well together. It was a pleasure meeting you both. Good luck next year, R.

Innocence | Fifty Two on Friday | Sara Tegman Photographer | St. Louis, Missouri//02.18.11

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving comments! I love that you are taking the time to come here and take this journey with me! Here are some of my past weeks themes below.  Click on the links and you can follow each weeks tour of my interpretation of the theme along with clicking through to 19 other photographers and their interpretation of the theme each week.

Self Portrait
Black and White
Joy
Simple
Shoes
Love

This weeks theme is Innocence.  I really struggled with this one.  I was going to just add some more newborns or children as they are both the epitome of innocence.  My innocence is more of a reminder of how precious life is.  A bird’s nest with eggs during the thaw of winter into spring.  The snow representing the cold, but also white representing innocence as a color.  The eggs, innocence of a new life about to be hatched.

Please join me in celebrating nineteen other photographers and their journeys with this awesome Fifty Two week project. Please check out this amazing and very talented photographer, Kara Jo in Memphis Tennessee.

52 on Friday | St. Louis, Missouri | Sara Tegman Photography//01.07.11

I am so excited to tell you about my 52 week project that I am taking part in this year. 18 other photographers and I are doing our project together so you are in for a big treat. We have a list of 52 “ideas or themes” we have to shoot each week for the year. I will take a picture of our theme for the week, the way I interpret it, and post it on my site. Then under my post, I will link another photographer who is part of the project for you to see her interpretation of the theme. After you see hers, you will notice a different link under her picture that will then take you to the next photographer’s website. If you continue to click on the link under each picture, in the end you should see 18 other pictures and eventually make it back to my site. When I say there is some AMAZING talent in this group, I am not lying, you will definitely want to check out everyone’s pictures!

This week’s assignment was a self portrait. These self portrait pictures will allow you to see the photographers who are doing this project and put a face to a name. Self portraits are definitely not most people’s favorite thing to do, but it forces us to be on the other side of the camera and remind ourselves what our clients go through! Be sure to check out all the links, you won’t be disappointed!

Now head over to the fabulously talented Shannon Harrison’s Jack and Ruby Studios | Temecula, California modern lifestyle photographer.

Senior | Chesterfield, Missouri | Sara Tegman Photography//10.09.10

Isn’t she gorgeous? My daughters absolutely adore her. She has the most tender heart and loves my girls. She watches over them when I have to shoot or attend my meetings. She is a graduating senior this year. I am not sure what we will do without her next year. She has been with my girls since they were babies. She brings them books and dresses up with them, braids their hair, reads them Eloise and sketches the best mermaids of the sea you have ever seen. Tu vas me manquer! Je t’embrasse, Margaux.

Gorgeous! | Senior Photographer St. Louis, Missouri//07.30.09

My camera loves her. She is 5’9″ and drop dead gorgeous. Her parents will be worried in the next few years sending this one off to college. She is stunning, tall, blond and smart beyond her years. Our family loves her. She loves my girls.
