When I say that I loved every minute of college, I do mean it. I get extremely sentimental with my girlfriends from college. If I could go back in time, this is the time I would re-live. They were there with me through it all. They loved, laughed, cried and lived it for four years, mostly under the same roof. We gathered together eating our Jiffy Treat in our massive fuzzy slippers and zit cream to indulge in that weeks “Friends” and “90210″ episodes all the while missing out on some serious studying we should have been doing.
My friendship with “T” has been long. She was THE first person I met at Indiana University – Bloomington. Consequently, our mother’s were also the first people who met each other while waiting for us in another room among hundreds of other nervous parents. It was fate, our meeting. So when I came out to hang with her even more amazing 3 boys and husband this past April, I was humbled and grateful for our first meeting. She is an unbelievably gracious host. She cooked for me and bought me my most favorite wine! We shared some rice beer with the locals and “T” took me out to an awesome restaurant in the Highlands. E, you are an amazing husband! Thank you for sharing her with me. “T” is THE most amazing, brave, strong and loving wife and devoted mother of 3 boys you will ever meet. We did so much in 2 days, it was mind-boggling. Thank you for sharing your weekend with me. ITB, sistah!
