I am officially in love with Maternity photography. Not only was this super fun, the mommie-to-be was so gracious and appreciative and of course, gorgeous. I would have loved to capture this session in the great outdoors, but we have 3-4 inches of snow on the ground and it is mid-20 degree temperatures. I am pretty sure it all turned out for the best. I cannot wait to capture the new little guy! Many congrats.

The mom of these beautiful children wanted something sweet for her sweets with sweets. Oh and to celebrate Valentine’s Day! She helped me scope for the perfect “candy shop” where the backdrop could be about chocolate and sweets. I couldn’t resist taking these little sweets for some more sweets of another kind, Lollipops. Does taking a picture of a 4 yr-old and barely 2 yr-old licking lollipops get any sweeter?

I love capturing sisters. It reminds me of my own sister. There is something so special about having a sister to look after, look up to and share things with at a level no one else will ever understand. These two definitely have such a sweet bond, always giggling, smiling and ribbing each other. Their energy is contagious.
